K2 Summit Scam

Posted in Herbal Current Events on Jun 24 by admin | PrintText Resizer Text Resizer

We have received numerous submissions regarding an individual by the name of Alexandre Dimov of Allegrand Enterprises who is suspected by consumers to be running an active network of “K2 Summit/Incense” sites with the intention of monopolizing the market by weeding out other K2 Summit vendors and promoting their own product by using deceptive marketing techniques to trick consumers into believing they are the only authentic and legitimate distributors of the K2 Incense.

Suspected domains include k2-incense.com, k2incense.org, and k2verified.org

My Opinion:

Alright – I really don’t have too much interest in the topic (I recommend buying JWH-018 directly as opposed to buying smoking blends) so I won’t bother dissecting this story too much.

The first aspect I would like to analyze is the incredible efforts made by “K2verified.org” to spread this message of “authentic K2″ and “legitimate vendors”. It doesn’t take much to see that these guys are actually trying to promote their own product by introducing this “K2 Verified” system. Undoubtedly, they also attack potential “K2 Counterfeiting” websites.

There is some debate between consumers as to the legitimacy of the “K2 Incense” trademark that Allegrand Enterprises may or may not own; however, this is irrelevant in my opinion – and I’ll tell you why.

If his trademark filing was legitimate, then this network of K2 incense sites with the verification seals is nothing more than a clever marketing strategy to appeal to customers. I don’t really see anything wrong with this; furthermore, almost all complaints I have read associated with this website have not discussed the actual product. This leads me to believe that as far as their customer relations go, they are actually selling something.

If his trademark filing was not legitimate, then what I wrote above still applies; however, these guys should be scorned for scaring off competition who do not have the means to verify their legitimacy.

Either way, the fact that these guys are so eager to spread this message of “k2 verification and legitimacy” suggests that they are trying to herd consumers to their website and their website only. As a consumer, this alone is enough for me to not purchase anything from them.

If you go ahead and read their “K2 Incense News” section, you can clearly see how vague and obscure their news releases regarding “counterfeit K2″ are. News releases do not contain any sources and scream bullshit. Not only do they not contain sources, they simply lack any actual information. The only external link is this which is simply a generic news report regarding K2 being potentially dangerous to kids. It does not discuss at all “k2 counterfeiting”. Counterfeit K2 does not seem to be anyone’s concern other than “K2verified.org”

I won’t bother analyzing this whole matter anymore because at this point it is already blatantly obvious that something if fishy. Whether their actual product is legitimate or not is unknown to me, but any company that makes such deceptive efforts to impede the success of competitors is not cool in my book. I can’t confirm the legitimacy of their operation, but the fact they provide absolutely zero proof of their legal progress suggests they are lying. I find it pretty ironic that these guys are so eager to foster their own product through this “K2 verified” system, yet they have no information to vouch for the legitimacy of all this “K2 counterfeit” talk they are so quick to promote.

Final Thoughts:

As said before – I don’t know how legitimate their actual products are, but based on their shady marketing techniques – I can suggest with confidence to not buy from these guys.

  • Hmm.

I reckon it’s the same as every other “incense”/salvia vendor claiming to be “[whereever's] #1 supplier!!!!1″ etc.

His way of marketing is just a bit less obviously bullshit.

    • you ppl have got to check out dank from skyhiblends.com they also carry the schwag bag in 3 flavors and the dank is so close to the real thing

  • Alexandre Dimov also owns KTW Enterprises, LTD which filed for a trademark application for the K2 incense name on 6/8/2010. KTW claimed first use of the K2 incense name on 3/27/2009 in their application.

KTW Enterprises, LTD did not file their Articles of Incorporation in Oregon until 2/2/2010.

So how exactly does a company who does not exist yet use a product name? Because Dimov and his merry band of fraudulent K2 “verified” sites are full of shit.

One K2 is no better/worse than another and apparently from all the reported illnesses, none of them are safe. Buyer beware..

    • “One K2 is no better/worse than another and apparently from all the reported illnesses, none of them are safe”

Well, Im pretty damn sure a hell of a lot more people get sick abusing alcohol than jwh every single minute of the day. You don’t hear lawmakers calling to ban alcohol. Hypocrites.

I make my own spice style incense for way cheap and I know exactly what’s in my own blends. Plus, I can make them as strong or as weak as I want them to be. If you don’t quite trust the pre-made spice blends, im telling ya, make your own. I get all the supplies I need from here for cheap http://videogalaxy.info

Of course there’s a difference between “K2″ and “K2.” A “K2″ where the active chem is spread evenly won’t do nearly as much harm, if any, as “K2″ which has has big amounts of chem in one small area and no chems in another. JWH is toxic at higher doses only therefore one gets hurt only when too much is taken, which would be the case if the chem isn’t evenly spread. I’ve been smoking what I believe to be the real K2 for over a year and have never have any issues and neither have any of my friends who smoke it. It’s a nice relaxing smoke with no side effects.

    • Bob says:

Where do you buy your K2, if you have been using it for a while with no side
effects. There are so many websites that claim their’s is the original.

  • Angry K2 Manufacturer says:

It is all because the Federal government has scheduled JWH to become illegal in the US starting in 2011. K2 started this year with plans to aggressively expand their product lines far beyond their own manufacturing capabilities, only to have to put the brakes on to try and sell out what they have by the end of the year.

I manufactured a product for K2 only to have them cancel their order and aggressively spread rumors that our product is counterfeit. I am sure the story is the same for all the other “counterfeit” brands.

Nearly every retailer online or storefront is now having to deal with K2 claiming their products are counterfeit because they want to sell out first. We aren’t criminals, we’re hard-working Americans that got screwed by the real criminals at K2.

  • This happened to us too. They have listed us on their site as counterfeiters and we’re actually getting emails from their devotees denouncing us and telling us that we’re going to be subject to civil and criminal liability. It’s insane. Their website is just a great big lie. Maybe they do have a product, and that’s great, but they have no right to say such slanderous things about other companies. And what’s more…it’s totally unnecessary. They could have sold out on the strength of the design, SEO, clear organization, packaging, and above-board marketing without resorting to this. On top of this, they recklessly tell people to cause chargebacks to other merchants. It’s just really disappointing. There is a blogger that has investigated a bunch of their claims and posted about it. http://k2k3texasgold.blogspot.com .

  • After reading all this I guess it is time for me to share some info. KTW ENTERPRISES is an Oregon corporation. owned by me. My name is Ryan. look it up for yourself, if you guys would stop being followers and start leading This industry would clean its self up pretty fast. You can Blame Bouncing Bear, for starting the counterfeit and illegally distributing, then selling rights to the product witch they have no legal rights to. I can spill so much dirt Its amazing. Bouncing bear has no idea who I am, or who I was back when. Anyone ever seen a magician? They get you to look one way and are doing something else?

I have personally had enough of the B.S. and cant wait for a court date. I can NOT wait.

I know who has documentation of who does.

here is a little clip from a real news article from when K2 was being purchased by Bouncing bear from the manufacture. THE ONE AND ONLY MANUFACTURE.. Not Bouncing bear, NOT SOUTHING EAST. not anyone. Is there 20 manufactures of ford? Hello people stop being sheep. Have you been to consumed by drama that you forgot to think? Successful people talk about business, other people talk about drama.

Here is a link with a written statement from RYAN VANCHIERI. Who used to work for Bouncing bear stating that BB was ONLY A DISTRIBUTOR. NOT the manufacture. PEOPLE OPEN YOUR DAMN EYES.
    http://www.kansan.com/news/2010/feb/04/police_officer_herbs/

read down and you will see for your own eyes. If this isnt enough gossip for you, feel free to start digging. or just wait for the slow grinding wheels of justice. Time will tell who is who.

How about this… here is s really good question..

Why did no one EVER Trademark the name or product? anyone?
BECAUSE YOU CANT TRADEMARK A PRODUCT THAT IS NOT LEGALLY YOURS UNTIL THE MANUFACTURE GIVE YOU THE RIGHTS.

Did anyones eyes just light up? Because KTW ENTERPRISES filed for the trademark when we finally got legal rights to it.

    Ryan: Owner of KTW enterprises.
I’ve seen it all, just not this dumb.

You will not see anymore public online appearances from me. you mite want to bookmark this.

  • Kendy says:

Everything you said is a pack of lies “Ryan” or should I say Alexandre Dimov? After all, that is the owner of KTW Enterprises. Why don’t you explain how you LIED on your trademark application by stating KTW first used the K2 incense name on 3/27/2009 when the company wasn’t incorporated until 2/2/2010?!?

You said, “Anyone ever seen a magician? They get you to look one way and are doing something else?” Maybe that’s what you think you are doing here, but no one is falling for your bullshit pal.

You’ll go to court when pigs fly because you have no case and probably never filed any papers. Why would a criminal like yourself want to show up in a courtroom? You would most likely be arrested on the spot. Now stop playing with your Mommy’s computer and go to bed.

  • Kendy says:

“After reading all this I guess it is time for me to share some info. KTW ENTERPRISES is an Oregon corporation. owned by me. My name is Ryan. look it up for yourself”

I did. Do you mean Ryan Scott of 3857 Bass Lane, Lake Oswego, Oregon? Well, THAT Ryan is a registered agent, NOT the owner.

Come on Alex, enough of your bullshit. You do not own the rights to anything and I am contacting the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to let them know you filed a fraudulent application.

Then I am going to point Jon Sloan to your web page where you once again slander him (as well as on this one). Looks like you might get that court date real soon after all – with you as the defendant, chump.

  • I completely agree with this. I was approached by someone named Alex Dimov wanting to buy a few of my k2 websites at a substantial cost. When I first starting selling k2 online I tried to get the verified seal for my website, considering I was buying wholesale from k2 incense. org at that time (not anymore). But Its funny how they wouldn’t give me one. Then I realized how they own all the sites that have the verified seal and it’s a complete marketing ploy. He is scared of any competition and will call out “fake sites” even on his own websites telling people to chargeback there orders. This guy is a complete scumbag and no one should buy from his sites.

    • Bob says:

If you can’t trust or buy from him where or who can you buy from? Who is the manufacturer and where are they located?

  • Bob says:

If you can’t trust or buy from him where or who can you buy from? Who is the manufacturer and where are they located?

  • Kendy says:

There is no “secret K2 manufacturer” as Dimov claims. It is all bullshit made up by him. The man is a compulsive liar and appears to be mentally unstable. Most places make their own K2, including him. It’s not hard to do and can be made much cheaper than the ripoff prices from most websites. Do a little research, buy whatever herbs you would like to use as substrate and some JWH-018 and JWH-073 (while you still can – the DEA just banned it staring next month) and at least you’ll know what’s in your K2. Good luck.

  • The DEA has issued a ban yes but they have delayed on it for a while. Also K2 isn’t even the best I don;t know why people still bother with it. Go for better more potent herbal incense blends like Scooby Snax and wicked XXX

  • Sam says:

Alex Dimov is being sued by Jon Sloan and Bouncing Bear. The suit for trademark infringement was filed on 11/10/2010. There are also 4 challenges to his trademark application which have been extended until 3/9/2011. It looks like Dimov will not be granted his trademark and it will be interesting to see if he even shows up for court.
