Found this thread on GrassCity. Thought some people might find it useful. I don’t really dabble in JWH-XXX blends anymore but those who do but be glad to read this.
I was wondering if anyone else is having health problems after smoking any of these blends. I’ve been a smoker of these blends for a few years now and it wasnt until just recently I’ve noticed a change in my health. The high began to turn into a lightheaded high which made me not want to drive on this stuff anymore.. Then it just became too uncomfortable to smoke it period due to lightheadedness ..
Now I’ve quit for a few weeks because one day its like the high never went away! Now I’m always lightheaded .. sometimes I’ll get a violent dizzy whirl in vision that makes me want to grab hold of something quick but it only lasts a moment. The light head lasts all day and I only get releif from it every once in a while for a few minutes at a time. Now I’ve got forehead pressure along with it.
I was wondering if anyone else has seen an article about these blends and health issues?? I am lightheaded as I type this and I havent smoked for weeks.. I’m a very small guy 5′3 118 pounds age 23.. so I figure it would be out of my system pretty much already. I can’t get rid of this and I’m worried about my health. If I try to smoke the stuff again , it increases the lightheaded feeling x10 and even with pot.. also it increases the forehead pressure. Its never painful but its effecting my work .. my driving skills .. daily life as I know it. I’m trying to find answers and seeking doctors.
For those of you who think this stuff is safe .. well.. I hope so .. maybe I’m just dealing with anxiety symptoms or something (as internet research may suggest) but anyway im going to get an MRI and bloodwork done. I have noticed the high becoming less and less pleasant until the effects just became permanent for me so far.. Be careful.

What are some ingredients that are used in smoking blends such as wild dagga or blue lotus ?
Hi, I have smoked it for some time now and understand the intensity of serenity. First lets talk about whats going on to cause the high. JWH-018 was developed by John W. Huffman, a chemist, in an attempt to treat psychological illnesses such as bipolar conditions. In the study the results showed no real medical affect, however the substance acted the same way as THC except 5 times stronger. Essentially resulting in an intense high with more of a head buzz than the full body buzz experienced by THC. The study showed no evidence of long term problems or such symptoms that you are having. Another less common herbal spice called BLUE DREAM has been reported to produced more of the body buzz. I have tried it and I think its basically the same since everyone of these products whether spice, serenity, dream all must contain JWH-018 to produce the affect.
As for you…… I would see a doctor to get checked out definately, but you are showing classic symptoms of vertigo possibly driven by an inner ear problem. As a nurse I run into this in a number of patients that I see. These symptoms could range from dizzines, anxiety, reports of just not feeling right, and impending doom. The vertigo is merely a symptom of what ever is causing it, but would most likely be taken care of by a medication called antivert. And an antibiotic to treat the infection. In some cases vertigo can happen with no subsequent cause but the antivert should still work well. As far as the smoking, lay off of it as long as the dizziness is their because the head buzz will definately intensify the vertigo. However I have found no research supporting long term problems— besides the probable cancer caused from smoking

my boyfriend smokes that shit to, he gets very angry and unmotivated. I was wondering if there are any problems that can come with it or what? He smokes black mamba probably about ten grams a day; from the time he wakes up till he goes to sleep. I just need to know if there are any health issues with it that we should be worried about and if it’s safe in any way to be smoking it.
10g a day? I cannot even fathom smoking that much in even a month! It’s No wonder he’s unmotivated if he’s stoned all day every day. Depression is rough. So easy to fall into and so hard to get out of. Getting high isn’t the answer..but it can help relieve stress (again if smoked in moderation)

Ive been having the same problems. Im never ever in my life smoking again. I had the worst trip of my entire life that you cant even possibly begin to imagine. I smoked some spice, there was only a little left from what i bought, like the powdery resin left behind from the herbs, the real strong shit. I smoked it and began to feel fine, then i sat down and started to drink some arizona green tea. The feeling of the liquid and flavor and ingredient ginseng i could feel being spread throughout my body. Ginseng accelerates the heart for a caffeine high. Things started to moved and i began to see things hear things. walls were moving, crumbling like pieces of paper. I felt my heart and it was beating at a unsafe speed. I felt like i was about to have a heart attack and die. I sat up and tried to calm myself down and tell myself im only seeing things and there is nothing to be afraid of. I began to feel normal again. But then it hit me immediatly with all of its force and power of the drug, I began to go temporarly blind and couldn’t see anything. All i could see was dots, and veins inside my eyeball ( i KID YOU NOT). I could hear my own voice in my head ” I have no idea whats going on, your going to die, and your going to hell”. I tripped like that for almost an hour, unable to see and lost in wonderland. I couldnt tell what was real, even if im real or what normal was. Then snap! im back, but feel high as shit, still seeing tracers from my own arms. I look at my hands and bengin to touch my face to see that I was real. I started to lightly slap myself in the face in a snap out of it sort of way. to try and stop the trip. The trip would go on and on of seeing things then feeling normal, then heart rate speeding up dangerously. I feel my body was under attack and I could feel my brain bleed and send electric impulses to my nervous. I could feel every single thing my body just went through. after a terrifying moment i began to throw up and feel sober again, I was so relieved that it was over. Because of that moment I am never inhaling anything into my lungs except air. Dont ever do drugs, it ruins your mind, body, happieness. It destroys all the things you love most. Each puff of that drug, you sending yourself closer to the grave. Staying sober is honestly the only way to live.
Im sorry for the long story, but that experience should never ever happpen to anyone. Never smoke shit anymore. If your wanting to feel good and like a natuaral high, then go outside, play, workout, and there is one pill that i take that i bought from GNC. i had a very similar experience yesterday. i’ve been smoking magic gold for a few months now, and tried triad for the first time a few weeks ago, and then yesterday i bought mojo and bayou blaster for the first time, thinking that it would be the same or at least similar to magic gold. i had 4 hits of the mojo and i was with a friend of mine and before i knew it, i was on my ass. everything was fragmented and i couldn’t walk straight. everything was moving. my friend goes “oh my god, there’s something in this” and we were literally floored. my heart started racing and i kept trying to calm myself down but each time i thought i was coming out of it, i would go back into it. i got so confused. i was tripping for 3 hours straight. it was horrifying for most of it. at one point i started crying and screaming out the names of the only people in my life that i love and when i was able to move, i forced myself to the bathroom for water. i couldn’t feel myself drinking it. i took a shower and had a phone conversation that i’m not sure how i got through because everything was fragmented. i had flashbacks and i listened to music and forced myself to sing a few songs all the way through, to ensure that time was in fact going in the right order. i then had sort of a spiritual epiphany, and realized what the message of the trip was for me. although i appreciated the overall outcome, i hated the trip, mostly because i wasn’t expecting it. i hate tripping, mostly because i’ve had to block things from my past and have anxiety, and i’m well aware that your trip has a lot to do with your mindstate. thanks for listening, and i’m glad that someone had a similar experience.
I had a similar experience the first and only time that I smoked Blaze. I seriously thought I had died and went to hell and was going be there for eternity. I thought everyone around me were demons. At first I couldn’t stop tapping my feet, but I couldn’t move any other body part voluntarily. I couldn’t speak, but I was soooo thirsty and needed help putting the cup to my mouth. I thought my heart was going to explode b/c it was beating SO fast. I was just happy to be alive and sobering up about 4 hours after I smoked that awful stuff.
my husband is usually a compassionate loving man who would never hurt anyone or anything but about 2 weeks ago he started smoking mojo gold and has been a monster ever since.He has violent mood swings and he is just horrible to be around. i will not comment on first part, but as for “gaining few pounds” part: I couldnt gain them and i was smoking for like 6 years and all day – from bed to bed. About one year ago I had to quit cause off panic attack and stuff, when i got myself together, i gained about 50% of my weight in like 3 months…I was 60-62kg for all my life, now I weigh 85kg.
So i dont know if gaining weight is really related with smoking weed.

that would make sense. initially when i started tripping out, i thought it was similar to a bad experience i had when i had some weed laced with pcp. tunnel vision, distortion, blackouts, and intense anxiety. but then it turned into something else. it was awful. never smoking mojo again. hopefully that stuff isn’t in the bayou blaster… keeping my fingers crossed for when i get the courage most likely in a few months, after yesterday’s experience.

Let’s get this out first, I’m a huge proponent of legalizing marijuana….so you idiots don’t have to smoke this herbal stuff that’s mostly meant as an incense. I just had a long talk with a friend of mine who is using it because marijuana isn’t getting her high. The chemical in this herbal smoke isn’t meant for getting people high. It was created to treat bipolar disorder!! So unless you’re bipolar already, the drug will probably cause you to display bipolar behaviors. Hence the violent mood swings and anger issues. Many of the blends use an herb called damiana as a base. (the actual herb itself) It has been used for years as an aphrodisiac. Definitely works as intended.
With some of the people reporting slight psychedelic effects I suspect this could be the result of several other herbs that are being used; not a result of the jwh. Many people are adding in herbs such as salvia (where legal, its banned in many states) skullcap, kratom, mugwort, etc. There are many more but each of these will have a different effect for each individual. Ranging from a 2 minute full on trip to producing mild body high. Again, this would be primary as the herb itself is being used as a vessel to carry the jwh. Your jwh high would be considered secondary. Under the administration of a skilled herbalist or well versed hobbyist these herbal blends have the potential for a great experience. On the other side of the coin you may have some tool throwing together a bunch of stuff he/she knows nothing or very little about. Plus these people aren’t expecting a salvia high but a marijuana one and that may not be pretty, nor is it ethical.

In my own smoking blend I make I prefer marshmallow, lavender, damiana, and a bit of kava. I use jwh-250.
On a side note, I read a brief European study on Damiana several years ago. This study indicated that there was a marked difference of effect between men and women. In women the resulting effect is euphoria and feelings of lust. Mens results seemed to indicate lust but in place of euphoria aggression and nervousness. Which isn’t really surprising. Even on an individual basis the effects vary person to person. That is just one of the potential herbs many of these popular blends use.
Anyway, hope some of this info helps some inquiring minds. Party safely everyone.
Sigh* When will people learn, the safest choice of drug is marijuana. Safer than alcohol and all other substances including this fake stuff. Hmmm…MJ bein unregulated allows people to lace with chemicals, to use all sorts of growing methods like bug spray and fertilyzers. It is anything but natural (except from medical centers). Look at opium and it’s derivatives; they all are “natural” in their foundation (opium poppies grow out of a plant for those who do not know). At least these companies tell us the ingredients and we have some knowledge of what is going on behind the scenes. At best, MJ is the same except a few differences in side effects and the legality. This is the best thing for citizens that are against the war on drugs…so lets keep it that way…
I also have the dizziness from smoking MOJO. I smoked it about 3 times per week and have been smoking it for almost 3 weeks now. I only noticed the dizziness after I mixed two different types. I did it before and felt dizzy for only 3-4 days, and did it again and feel dizzy. It has been 3 days now and I am getting better with each day. I am drinking a lot of water.
One other negative side effect I noticed is while working out at the gym, the high was triggered with out smoking it and lasted for about 5 hours. It has taken me 3 days to finally comedown and finally starts to feel normal again. I had an elevated heart rate all of the time, diarrhea, was dehydrated thus the consumption of water and Gatorade, was nauseous, felt anxiety, felt the impending doom as mentioned earlier in another post, I was yawning, and had trouble breathing, and knew that I was not mentally sharp. The most disturbing thing about the side effects are the feelings of almost panic that I can not get rid of the symptoms. I am slowly getting better but I feel cloudy.
I was wondering if anyone who has felt similar symptoms has gotten medical treatment and if they are feeling better.

Why would you mix two? Stop.
Your body chemistry is not compatible with the burning ingredients, for whatever reason.
Slow your ass down. I take one yellow hit off of a pipe, hold it in for about 10 seconds and exhale. That one hit lasts me for a couple of hours and I don’t get complications.
I have Vertigo and I know all about it. Serenity does NOT make me dizzy, so whatever you are experiencing is possibly related to something else.

Why is your pricelist written so stupidly? I mean you can just write 5$/g instead of making a list…and why is 3.5g a lot more expensive???
I recently discovered K2 Blue. So far, I love it. 1 hit and I have a good buzz for quite a few hours. When I do more than a hit every 2 or 3 hours, dizziness does occur. When mixed with alcohol, there seems to be synergic effects and the buzz is amplified.
So like any other drug, controlled or not, if you take just enough to get the desired effects, you’re the better off.
It is nice that there is an opportunity to experience altered levels of conciousness without breaking the law or losing a job over UA results.

Last night a friend of mine went to the hospital for smoking King Krypto. He wasn’t breathing and his face turned grey. The ambulance rushed him to the hospital. In the end he checked out fine. Vitals were ok and he was released in the morning. We dont know exactly what happened or why…but it has to do with the ingredients. Now I don’t trust this lab made chemical substance. Nobody ever got sick from smoking weed! Probably because it is natural. Maybe if it were legal, hazardous alternatives such as King Krypto wouldn’t exist and last night wouldn’t have happened.
I tried the dascents Demon Blend and Mojeaux and this is what I found:
1. Yes it gets you high.
2. Yes it can cause anxiety attacks but if you’re experienced, these are simple to overcome.
3. Yes it left me with some permanent spacey feeling that won’t go away, even months afterward. I only used it for a week or two, and every one of my friends is smoking it now but I refuse. I do not trust this stuff.
4. There is currently no information anywhere as to what’s in these blends, the jwh-108 is illegal so they’re using something else. It is very suspicious that after searching google and yahoo for quite some time, i can still find absolutely no information about the real ingredients.
Point 1 suggests that these are not just ‘herbal’ but there is some other type of (probably synthetic) chemical in them.
It’s important to note that with any type of real pot there is still the danger of chemical additives, especially insecticides that can cause real health problems. This has always been true and is not dependent upon the quality of the herb; “kind” bud growers have to keep bugs off their plants just like low-grade mexican weed farms.
Pyrethrum extracts used to combat spider mites, while naturally occuring in the chrysanthemum family, are TOXIC TO HUMANS, and are used on most marijuana plants.
But at least i know what it is and can find out about it on google! Screw this herbal nonsense, I don’t need to get high that bad.
Remember that for 150 years asbestos was used around the world and 100,000’s of people have died from exposure to it! And if there had been forums back then, some people would be insulting/contesting the people who didn’t trust it, just like now.
You don’t know anything about the chemicals in these legal smoke blends, so stop pretending like you do.

I have NOT noticed any ill side effects with Mojo Diamond, which I believe is different from MOJO. I live in Michigan and this is the best I’ve tried. I smoke it when I have headaches and it actually works. The stuff is made with good ingredients and you can tell just by looking at it compared to others. Also everytime I get some it is the same, I’ve tried some that were different from time to time.
I too have smoked K2 for a while now, and I do know the feelings you speak of. K2 contains Lotus flower, and that in large doses can be used as a narcotic. When mixed with the other stuff in it, it does make you feel uneasy and really stoned. Yes, the feelings you are having are associated with an inner ear infection, I know because just last week i had to get tubes in my ears. I am 25 years old, and never had chronic ear problems, until I started smoking k2. If they are related, i can’t say for certain, but I have heard of crap similar to it. I’ve heard it can cause your brain to swell, and many other rumors i dont think can be prooven…yet. I do not contribute the ailments to JWH-018, cuz i have smoked other mixes containing it, and i have not had anymore of those uncomfortable dizzy spells or nautiousness. My adivice is find some antibiotics, or go to a Ear Nose Throat doctor. If not, the symptoms you speak of are associated with many other things, such as diabetes and some STDs. So to save the cash, if you are broke like me, go to a General Practice/Family Doctor. They could prolly see you for about 40 bux, write you any perscription you might need, and point you in the right direction if you have more specific health care needs.
i never had it before so i can’t completely say i understand but i have a friend going through the same problem as well. but not about the high never going away. he just gets light headed from time to time. hopefully everything turns out fine for you

Just because something is designed to treat something else doesn’t mean it will be effective as a treatment. LSD-25 was designed to treat respiratory problems, but that’s not what it did. Dr. John W. Huffman, who designed the synthetic cannabanoid that is being used in these spices, even admits that it didn’t work in treating bi-polar and now is only really good for getting high.
And as someone with bi-polar disorder I can tell you that someone who isn’t bi-polar isn’t going to develop bi-polar symptoms from taking my meds. Not all medicine works like riddilin and ADD. Every since I have smoked Mojo Diamond I have had a non stop lightheaded, dizzy feeling. It has been a few days and this feeling won’t go away. I’m never gettin high again. This feels horrible
I think this also has happened to me. This feeling of getting up and seeing nothing but dark for minutes at a time scares me and i dont feel confortable smoking blends anymore. For anyone considering to try it stick to bud.
